The criteria for supplier selection should be simple and straight forward, so that appropriate supplier is selected in due time without any problems. The company should look for a supplier that has the following traits:

Uniqueness: The supplier should be a leader in the IT market and should be known for novelty and individuality of their work.

Receptivity: They should be receptive in terms of the requirements and business policies of SAZ so that not only the supplier company understands the IT needs, they are also able to fulfil the requirements.

Potential: SAZ should also investigate thoroughly, the potential of the company; i.e., whether the company is competent and capable of handling a project of this magnitude.
