The company is doing the right thing by relying heavily on IT for all its operations, as this would help the company in the years to come. SAZ is already using ERP systems that are the best choice for reliable and fast flow of information along with accuracy and data protection. However, the system was not implemented properly. It was unable to take advantage of the various features that the company could benefit from. EDI is one feature that is beneficial for companies like SAZ. The ordering system, both internal and external would become more efficient and accurate. ERP offers single point of data entry, the solution and enhancement of IT would result in the eradication of data redundancy. Besides redundancy of tasks, it would also decrement the downtimes that exist with the completion of various tasks. The business processes of SAZ would become more effective with the implementation of the solution. Costs incurred are not huge and the company can bear them considering the benefits that are associated with the costs. A common database with improved network efficiency would mean that all departments could access the database and drive relevant information for their usage. The project implementation would require SAZ to manage the changes that would come with the implementation of the solution. Previously, the system did not perform to the maximum of its capability because it was lacking in technology, it did not comply with the business requirements of SAZ, ERP are inflexible by default and therefore, they need to be built right. The sanctions that Iran is facing seem to be a hurdle in the progress of the company and the country itself. However, the best possible method of fighting these sanctions is to focus on Asian countries more and develop close relations with them.
